Steps to reproduce
===================
1. Expand a tab group.
2. Make one of the tabs in the group active (say, the leftmost one).
3. Enable "Open new tab next to active"
4. Either open a link from the current tab in a new one (ctrl+click/middleclick for me)
Expected result
===============
Previously the tab was opened next (one tab to the right) of the currently active tab, and that's what I'd expect to happen.
Actual result
=============
The tab opens to the right of the tab group, outside of it.
